Hi, Looking to buy a home from possibly several builders of most interest are k hovnanian. Curious to know what their compensation structure is for their salespeople to know how to properly negotiate. For example if they are compensated based on margin then they are not incented to give you any discounts vs. if they are given a fixed comission based on each home sold.
any insights? if not k hovnanian, please feel free to comment about other builders.

you could google the builder and see what pops up..offer what you think the house is worth and if they say "no", walk away. The compensation is of little matter, that’s the builders’ worry, not yours. You could try zillow.com (it’s free) to see what they appraise the property at. Keep in mind, with the RE market struggling, you as a buyer are more in control than normal. Good luck.
