PHIL ANDREWS
Phil Andrews, was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Marcy Housing Development. He attended Brooklyn Technical High School, which is a specialized school in New York City. He has lectured throughout New York State at various colleges and universities. He was the Vice President and Marketing Director of the Haircut Hut franchise for over a decade. Mr. Andrews is listed in Who’s Who in Black America and International Who’s Who. He is also featured in a book published by, Mr. Robert H. Adams entitled, 15 years of Minority Business Development.
In October of 1995, Mr. Andrews was presented the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce/Roosevelt Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year Award. In 1998, he was presented with the Nassau Council of Chambers/West Indian Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year Award. He has also received a citation from the 18th Assembly District of Long Island New York, Assemblywomen Earlene Hooper Hill. Mr. Andrews has received Proclamations from former Nassau County Executive Thomas S. Gullotta, and former Town of Hempstead Supervisor Mr. Richard Guardino. Read More
